Founder Story
Jill’s House was founded in 2019 by LA-based DJ and dancer Juliet Mendoza, who saw the lack of womxn/POC representation in the scene and the need to create opportunity to further represent our community.
Who We Are
Our crew is a family of musicians, dancers, artists, teachers, writers….Collectively, we bring 50 years of industry experience and passion. Dance music and events produced by women and other underrepresented folx are often overlooked and this is our effort to show the world otherwise. Music is the core of our lives -- we live and breathe this shit -- and for many of us, it’s saved our lives. We wanted to create a space for marginalized to shine/have a platform/amplify their voices.

Jackin' Jills is a Los Angeles based event series providing a platform for women-identified DJ's and Dancers to share their talent with the community.
